    halleluyah,
Finally some folk which think as I do, I haul from NZ and I am a big skeptic of the so-called GLOBAL WARMING………………… When is the world going to wake up to this idealist nonsense put up by the leftist global saviours whom we know as —————- Global warming is a smokescreen for more fundamental change, and is part of a large political agenda that impacts on who but the poor middle and lower class and third world people!! Oh yes it is the poor individuals who will bear the brunt of: Emmission Trading Schemes, and other totally useless tax schemes, and endless methods of getting YOU AND YOURS to contribute to this meaning less cause. Lets us join together and join in a huge voice and put a stop to this NOW!!

I’m surprised the free-marketeers aren’t more excited about Cap and Trade. Placing value on something which has no value at all!? A completely constructed market offering nothing to anyone but the rich?!! It sounds like your sort of thing.

      • Dan McGrath says:

Well, then you have no understanding of the free market – it doesn’t require government to force people to buy a product, whether real, or as in the case of carbon credits, imagined.

        • Owen Griffiths says:

You are absolutely right- It doesn’t require the government to make people buy a product, but we’re not talking citizens buying products. We are talking about the value of a ‘commodity’ being escalated way beyond and actual worth – see the housing market for a perfect example of what happens when we let this happen. A global financial breakdown ending up in governments spending taxpayers money on propping up useless institutions. The richer will benefit hugely at the expense of the poorer (surely this should be the other way around).

It is unbelievable how greedy and selfish these thieves are!!! How long will their personal wealth last when the rest of us are unemployed?

  3. Freedom Fighter says:

Al Gore and his team of scammers have no shame, and they must be engaged at every opportunity.

  4. Annie Oakley says:

Wow, kindred spirits—–and better organized than I am. However, I’ve told my social group about you. Hopefully they will find this site with it’s rich information.

I was thinking as a balance to boycott, we should find groups or businesses such as the US Chamber of Commerce, to support and give them our patronage.

  5. Dan Wing says:

While global warming is very real, and the evidence of global climate change with the corresponding uptick in greenhouse gases is certain, I feel cap and trade in it’s current proposal will only set us us up for another economic bubble. The only people who will benefit from this legislature will be those who work for the big banks.

  6. Kevin Bennewith says:

I am from Brisbane Australia, and we should fight against these watermelon greenies who would take us back to the dark ages.
The public is gradually waking up to this scam and here is a web site about the growth of climate scepticism in Australia:
    http://www.climatesceptics.com.au

I wish I could sign your petition, but a US ZIP code is required.

The people (we) elected and sent to Washington–obviously have forgotten that the money we give them–is to run the country–not the people. It appears we all fell asleep on the happenings in DC. Time to vote them out of office–Yes–all of them. Al Gore –thank goodness–is no longer in Washington. Now–Vote all of his cohorts out with him. Global Warming is a fantasy in the minds of those wanting to make millions–fortunately, American are not the sheeple Washington thinks they are. STAND UP AMERICA.
