From the Wall Street Journal

PewPollA new poll out today on Americans’ attitudes about climate change presents sobering findings for those that favor aggressive action to curb U.S. emissions of greenhouse gases.

The survey by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press finds a sharp decline over the past year in the percentage of Americans who see solid evidence that global temperatures are rising. According to the survey, conducted between Sept. 30 and Oct. 4 among 1,500 adults reached on cell phones and landlines, fewer respondents also see global warming as a very serious problem; 35% say that today, down from 44% in April 2008.  The survey also points to a decline in the proportion of Americans who say global temperatures are rising as a result of human activity. Just 36% say that currently, down from 47% last year.

Where are the 31k scientists who are being quoted ,who are they? Where did you get that data?
This appears to be another spin on facts to suit your opinions. Here is your email to me, why should I believe you?

Cap-and-trade is a government scheme to tax all energy use and production. It will affect every product and service bought and sold in America. Proponents claim it’s all about prevent global warming by limiting carbon dioxide emissions. The problem is the earth has been cooling for ten straight years!

31,000 scientists now agree global warming isn’t a threat, compared to about 50 United Nations scientists, and scores of bureaucrats and politicians, who want us to radically change our way of life to prevent 1/10th of a degree of theoretical warming 100 years from now?

  2. Tacnet says:

    - We should be more concerned about Global Warming and Climate Change because Typhoons are getting much stronger and there are greater incidence of Flooding. take for example the recent Typhoon Ketsana which devastated some countries in South East Asia.

    • LEJones says:

What evidence do you have that typhoons are getting stronger? In the US, the top year for hurricanes was 2005, followed by — nothing! Did global warming just stop? Did the CO2 level drop? Of course not! CO2 is a harmless gas, essential for life on Earth. To characterize it as a devastating environmental poison is just ridiculous!

  3. Global warming is becoming such an obvious problem that someone somewhere other than the US Preisdent needs to step up to help drive the bus!
